Welcome to Murugammal Residency. By making a reservation or staying at our property, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Reservations and Booking
Booking Confirmation
- Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment or valid credit card guarantee
- A confirmation email will be sent with your booking reference number
- Please verify all details in your confirmation and contact us immediately for corrections
Rates and Pricing
- All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified
- Rates are subject to applicable taxes and service charges
- Promotional rates may have special conditions and restrictions
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In Policy
- Standard check-in time: 2:00 PM
- Early check-in subject to availability (additional charges may apply)
- Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in
- Guests must be 18 years or older to check-in independently
Check-Out Policy
- Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Late check-out subject to availability (additional charges may apply)
- Please settle all bills before departure
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Standard Cancellations
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in
- Cancellations within 48 hours: First night charges apply
- No-show: Full booking amount will be charged
Refunds
- Refunds processed within 7-10 business days
- Refunds credited to the original payment method
- Non-refundable bookings clearly marked at time of reservation
Guest Conduct
House Rules
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Pets are not allowed unless prior approval obtained
- Guests are responsible for any damage to hotel property
Visitor Policy
- All visitors must register at the front desk
- Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 9:00 PM
- Guest is responsible for visitor conduct

Security Deposit
- A security deposit may be collected at check-in
- Deposit returned upon check-out after room inspection
Liability
Hotel Liability
- The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to guest belongings
- Safe deposit boxes available at the front desk
- Hotel liability limited to direct damages as per applicable law
Guest Liability
- Guests are liable for any damage caused to hotel property
- Charges for damages will be added to the final bill
Force Majeure
The hotel shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or civil unrest.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India
- Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu
